cankid, I like downtown very much. Wouldn't spend all my time here if I lived here though, the nearby poverty is kind of overwhelming and depressing. But yeah, the good numbers seem to hang around here.

That is my sentiment too. I've noticed that Americans aren't as awestruck by it as much as some of us born elsewhere. Not sure why.

Trop, last I was in, was a Leroy's outlet. All dry-erase lines are outdated, but at least as the Leroy's outs, you can go to the machine and get the latest lines. But bet more than 100 and they'll put you on hold while some guy at "central" looks at you on camera (no kidding) before approving your bet.

Downtown, check out Lucky's (Union Plaza). Was a good out last year. And El Cortez is South Point. Golden Nugget is indie. Golden Gate and Fitzgerald's are Leroy's, if they're even still open. But I'm dated on ownership.

4Q is CalNeva. Isn't Fremont as well? Or is it Binion's is CalNeva and Fremont is Coast?

Now that we're on the subject, if anyone has the latest ownership's of downtown books, would be cool to have an update.
