EVH blamed his tongue cancer on the brass and copper guitar picks he held in his mouth forever, while playing. Which is the exact spot where he got the tongue cancer. Brass contains lead. His lungs were perfect, so the smoking and drugs never effected those or his other organs. This is a sad story of EVH losing his fight. Reading his son Wolfgang's post on social media sucked. RIP

20 minutes ago I heard this from my wife in the other room
"Oh no" followed by her crying.
I asked what's wrong, she said Eddie just died.
I said "Oh no" !!!!!
This is how I learned of Eddie's Death

There are rock stars, and there are rock stars.
Eddie was a rock star.
The epitome, the very definition of a rock star.
I'm not going to get long winded here, he was a legend, an icon, one of the GOAT's.
Ask my wife and her girlfriend and any other 35 + year old woman they'll all tell you Eddie was their fantasy fuk.
And he was one of the rock hero's.

When I hear Eddie Van Halen, this is always the first thing I think of..
