I think Pete, as a poster to another, is asking guys to take the Pepsi challenge.

We understand where users are coming from when they talk about finding alternatives and actually appreciate it overall. It's how some show which things are the most important. We hope long time SBRers eventually realize that we are with em and are listening whether they leave or not. That's why some new things change fast. People said they had one foot out when we first released the BTP rules last year and a few years earlier when we added the live lines box at the top of the forum. Last month it was the poster video box on the right.
There aren't better posters anywhere and we know this is a forum we all built... like an open source project everyone is in on. It would be great if we could roll out ideas pleasing everyone and show the final product, but we need the group effort. On our end, we will put in the effort to keep the forum fresh with new features and try to find ways to keep it fun for everyone.

Sorry, Bill. Those are changes that didn't completely change the posting atmosphere at SBR. I really don't see the correlation. I'm not going to another forum because SBR was the best. Now it's watered down horseshit. I guess my posting days are over after the bash.

I do care who stays or goes. I don't want to lose our more sensible and interesting posters in favor of a bunch of junk collecting yahoos. I'm not a big forum guy. If I stop posting here I will most likely stop posting. Just because other places suck doesn't mean we can afford to loose whatever quality we have here.

SBR is honestly the only forum I have ever posted at, I couldnt tell u how well it weighs up with anything else out there because to be honest, I have never posted anywhere else. If I were to leave SBR, I just wouldnt post at all. Like I said, me finding sbr was a fluke...sportsbook.com owed me 2500 bucks and I was almost convinced I would never see it if it werent for the mods here that told me despite their horrible rating and customer service i actually had a 99% chance of seeing me money, however slow it may take, it took 8 weeks by the way. I have power posted and completely avoided sbr at times and feel that it is a love/hate relationship that i have here. I have threatened to leave and it just causes other posters to dare u to go.. Monkey, whatever u do i just wish ya luck but like even u said, there isnt better out there. I just have never and will never post anywhere else because its out of my comfort zone simply put i guess. I have spammed other forums with ad campaighns but thats it... Either way, thanjks sbr in advance for the good, and fu for the bad, but just know as of almost a year ago, I have been one barreled in fukk and im glad i found a spot here!

I agree but they just dont want more threads touting other forums, they have enough time keeping up on threads the way things have been lately and dont need more bs from veteran posters..
