As of around lunch time we opened the gates on SBRpoints. Right now, anyone who crosses the 50 post mark gets 15 points (example 50, 450, and 1050 pts). Soon, you'll see more points awarded for Handicapper plays and Think Tank contributions.

If you like someone's post, or someone answers your question, or someone formats an excel sheet for you, you'll be able to give points to them.

Of course, soon you'll be able to cash out your points, bet your points and ante up points to enter poster contests!

You will see your points under your posts and after the release of the store, have a paypal-style points account page.

There is a small character minimum and points will be monitored just like they are for minimum post counts to enter contests.

More points will be given for the capper and sports forum that are heavily moderated. We will adjust the way points are given so its best for the board.

Will there be a page at all detailing where are points are coming from and milestones for the next point / points. Also tying in with that a page describing how many points are earned from each forum? I imagine this similar to an ebay feedback page.

Yes, it will look like banking history with credits and debits. Think ebay for the store end and paypal for the accounting end.
