I know in the US you lot are in the dark about FACTS, so I'll give you a heads-up. Many European countries are terrified of a 2nd wave, in Autumn, fearing that it will be much worse than the current one.

The logical solution for the NBA is to carry this season's records into the next one. Aim to play another 82 games by all means, but understand there's a high probability there will be another lockdown.

Well without the NBA these highly paid athletes will be going broke! Did you not follow the '13 lockout shortened season? The ones on super-max contracts can handle it just fine (sell of a mansion or two) but the lower rung are mostly reckless, living cheque to cheque.

The Italian government has set a May 18 date for the return of soccer training. No date has been set for the resumption of the league.

The German Bundesliga is set to resume in May. They claim they want to be the first professional soccer league to return after the pandemic lockdown according to the Washington Post.

Nobody does, that's my point. But everyone makes a prediction based on zero info; it's crazy.

Based on the more optimistic medical news (lowering death rates, increased testing and the
reality of future herd-immunity developing, etc.) I believe we'll have no-live-spectator sports
this year. That means MLB (shortened season) and a normal NFL season. College BB too...

I have no idea what Adam Silver will do with the NBA though.

A number of precautions were to be in place for football's return, including players going to games in separate buses, sex bans and stars wearing masks to play.
