mostly it's elderly people over the age of 75 who get pneumonia which started from the flu. the flu does not kill 200K a year in the USA. one year, the 2016/17 season, it killed 80K, but that was an aberration. it is typically 20K to 50K per year. the true cause of death is pneumonia which developed from the flu. the flu did not kill them - something worse did.Originally posted by StackinGreen
