Who Here Has DirectTV??

Directv is starting to piss me off.. Always calling in to lower my bill as they jack it up almost every month now. It's getting to be a pain in the asss.

Starting to look for an alternative. I love the genie dvr's and what not but my bill is always a buck and half every month now.. I'm starting to look at other services now. If I neglected my DIRECTV bill it would be in the 200's every month I kid you not today..

IDK?? May dis Directv soon.. Got their frigg'n dishes bolted into my roof now..

Its not just Directv, all of those services raised their prices.

Is that right? Ground Cable services even too? I also have internet TV now, it's just crap without the DVR..

Yeah same here with Sportzprime on Windows.

Phone is kinda small and crappy, so won't really be using it for anything. Only had to because Vidgo wouldn't work on my laptop.

Question for you though. If that was the only outage on Sportzprime for you - with all the channels it has to offer - what do other IPTV's have to offer that it doesn't?

Alternatives when Sportzprime starts buffering or what?

Internet TV you are forced to watch commercials.. Can't rewind or record shows either.. Game breaker!!!

I’m surprised I haven’t had much buffering and 14 days yes it’s been down here and there but you get an alert that they’re working on it every time

That chat service is a must with sportzPrime

Also an installation video so you have the proper settings on the fire TV

It depends on who they are geared for. Nitro offers a lot of latin channels. SportsTv offers a lot of feeds from Australia, England, and obscure US local markets. SportsPrime offers the overflow US sportschannels that others dont (think CSN Philly+, NESN+, etc).

No, just cable TV. The main reason is the rising sports fees.

Yeah I have no desire for international channels - I'm in it for US sports and movie channels.

Sportzprime it is for me man unless I need more.

Looks like many services with US locals will lose them tomorrow, hoping its just a weekend or so. The main supplier was using the Sony Vue, which is gone tomorrow.

I cancelled cable a month ago. Stream all sports now. Netflix and amazon prime for docs and movies.

Should’ve done it years ago. Cable companies treat long term customers worse than new sign ups (like someone said here). No contracts, cancel whenever I want. It’s the future.

Getting "Forbidden" page for Sportzprime web player since about 7 last night. I know it's not specific to my wifi because same thing on my cell which is 4g.

Anyone else have this and/or know how to resolve it?

I suppose just wait because it's down again....just looks different this time.

Still can't let go of my Directv.. Do have Internet firestick TV now also.. Running them both..

Paying for Amazon Prime channels, ESPN + and liking Internet TV.. Netflix, etc...

I think you have to have both these days or you're missing out..

It's on my laptop though Coach, thank you. I'll look for app for my Amazon Fire today though since the Webplayer is coming up as FORBIDDEN though.

Not used to seeing/hearing the word FORBIDDEN unless it's a woman telling me not to shove it in her back door man.

i use directv, but i have other type of antennas for picking up the great old shows from gettv metv and antenna tv, i hate the new shows except for sports and use the rest to watch the great shows from the 70' and 80's.........
