when the forum used to actually be usefull people posting there picks and people actually talking about why they were picking the game, at the time the spreadsheet was just getting started and the video boom began to start, this was when dave was dave was still usckingsfan, u no when he actually used to lurk aorund giving advice and picks. now what do you have? you have JJ gold all focking depressed wishing under a tree, you have nothing but sarcastic shits that run away most all new posters with arogance, any pick that gets posted all people do is bash, forum has really hit a low, gets harder to look at everyday. video quality is jsut horrible, remember the classic vegas dave videos impersoanting JJ, or JJ calling dave a stiff, how about nickys how to handicapp the proper way, many other classics, now there all garbage, were reduced to hearing JJ shouts out names for 10 minutes str8, why not jsut read the active members list and skip the video,

by far, the worst poster on sbr.. he brings nothing to the table here. i don't like monkeyfag, but at least he brings something to sbr.. i get into heated arguments with him, but about gambling. at least he talks gambling.. this guy's posts are the same. he never talks gambling and all his posts are the same.. you've read one, you read em all..

For the last decade, I have seen posts like this many times over at a variety of gambling portals. I try to respect everyone's opinions and certainly this authors post. Over that time since visiting these gambling boards and still this day, I hear(d) how the boards are getting worse or going under, but they are still here holding steady mostly.

If not for the UIGEA many of these same boards would be thriving even more so [financially] no matter the content. Gold's responses in this thread are pretty accurate from my experience. The diversity is needed. Sure, I'd like to see more gambling discussion also, especially over the childish arguing and name calling [bashing], but the manners are close to the same at each site I have been around. Change is ever-happening, good and bad. I have faith that SBR will have a solid football season.

For as short a time as the SBR board has been on line, it has come a long way. All of the tools and toys offered here is most impressive. Recognize that starting the forum was quite a new venture for SBR. I am unsure any other gambling board has ever taken off the way SBR has in such a short period.

The point of the message in the original post is understood from my seat, but over time [in my case, a decade] things do change often. It's proven fact that this part of the year always causes a shake up in routine as many posters are just buying time in good and bad ways awaiting the football season.

We have to be able and move past things that annoy us and focus on the things that bring us interest. We do not have to acknowledge anything that doesn't interest us. I find that concept easy, but in the decade of posting I yet understand why the vast majority of posters cannot ignore those things that rattle their nerves.

In my approx 6 months of helping here, I notice a real refreshing difference that will help SBR more so than anything else and we are all seeing it transpire. SBR worries mostly about SBR's business and that mentality is paying off nice dividends in my opinion.

Here is precisely the reason why all you spoiled disenchanted SBR members should be praising and bowing to give posters like *me your total respect ,I have been through the "ropes and vines",seen more life's challenging situations and have been humbled by the everyday "letdowns",most of them you never see coming !
