    You are ignorant.

Nice that he wants to win so bad but you can do it the right way. Hope they don’t win another one.
As a Celtics fan I cannot co-sign on them never winning another ring but the way Ainge handled IT will definitely turn off some guys. Why any player would trust the opinion of a doctor paid by the team is beyond me. They are looking out for the best interests of the organization not the player.

IT didn’t fall back to earth. His drop off is directly related to his injury. He would be the same player he was had he not got hurt. Not sure people realize how good he was. C’s screw him then karma with Hayward.

100% this...I was going to say the same thing, their are 6'5" guys with STRONG defense that won't make a roster, he over achieved and fell back to earth

It is a cold world sometimes and players need to do what is best for themselves long term and stop relying on doctors employed by the team to tell them when they are good to play.

You know...it just seemed he always had to work way to hard for his points....it seemed unsustainable.

Thomas was emotional because... it's one of those things in life... you knew you were GREAT AT ONE POINT.... and he was making ridiculous shots etc.... but he knows he's not the same anymore because of injury. In fact.... he's basically just good enough to be a back up.

    I would be emotional too.

He deserved better from Ainge and Celtics.

Feel bad that he didn’t get paid. Hip injuries are career enders. Took down my man Jonny Flynn who actually started his career off strong. Hip injury derailed that. Hopefully Isaiah can budget well. Doesn’t have strip club money like he should have.

With that said, the guy is a liability on both ends of the court now. His defense has regressed to a point where you can't give him more than 10 minutes a game. His speed isn't there anymore and he hasn't done anything to differentiate or reinvent himself as a player. He still thinks he's a Max player who can drive into the paint at will.
    cannot agree more.

^^^when did that happen because all he mostly did was score in the paint as small as he is he wasnt getting his shot blocked but scoring or drawing fouls. unless his hip isnt ever gonna be ok to play at the highest level then itll just take time he still averaged 15 pts the last 2 seasons

He believed his own press. Once teams watched him in paint on film, you could see he was too small to score on drives. So let him drive then block him. Seems all teams got memo now on how to defend
