Guess it just depends on your taste. I tend to drink stronger beers (right now drinking a Pliny the Elder IPA at around 8%) and scotch. Vodka has no taste to me and I don't like adding mixers to my alcohol so I just cant do it. Ive been a heavy drinker for pretty much my whole life so my tolerance is pretty high so id rather enjoy what I'm drinking cause it'll take me a bit to get there. To each his own though.

No worries. I’m not into the pussification some addicts and drunks partake in. They have to stay sheltered and away from their “triggers” when if you can’t handle the little shit then you’ve already relapsed. Drove me crazy in rehab that we couldn’t watch certain shit or talk about certain shit. Like if you can’t handle a TV show when you’re safe in rehab and it’s gonna make you run out the door then you were always fcked anyway. Real life doesn’t coddle you. All alcohol is good really, everyone has their own ways, me im usually a bottled beer and shot guy at a regular/dive bar. A good cocktail if im somewhere nice, negroni,manhattan, old fashion maybe a whiskey mule here and there
