It does not go from 10% to 20% after making the second choice. Two out of ten is 20%, but that's not what's happening here. If you choose wrong the first time, you don't make a second choice.

Also, you misunderstood what he was saying. He was saying if he chose correctly the first time, that was a 10% chance. Then if he chooses again, it's a 11.111...% chance, and so on.
