Look at the bright side, at least you don't have Lou Gehrig's disease. I don't know too much about MS but Montel Williams is 62 and seems to have MS under control. You should look into his foundation. GL

Jesus Christ. I hope you get better soon. My best friend who is just 46 started having numbness issues on his right side last January, and for 2 months the doctors fukked him around. He went from walking decently, to walking with a cane, to a walker, and then he couldn't walk at all. I told him that we needed to call an ambulance and have him taken to the ER so they would actually do something. Ambulance took him February 4th at 2 PM and by 4 PM, they knew what was wrong. He had a tumor on the left side of his brain. He had that removed and then had to have part of his lung removed as he had a tiny cancer spot that caused the tumor on his brain. He's getting better buy it has been a rough 8 months.

Fukking doctors man, instead of just ordering for the MRI on his head, they bounced him from doctor to doctor so everyone could get a piece of the action, meanwhile my friend was getting worse and worse. After they found the tumor, one of the heads at the hospital said that with his symptoms, that should have been caught right away, but yet 4 or 5 doctors didn't recognize it. They just kept sending him for bullshit tests that he should have never had to take.

today is Day 5 of 5 for steroids and I’m getting kicked out to a rehab place tomorrow. Not sure where yet but that’s where the tough work will begin.

Nursing homes and rehab facilities have quality ratings called Star ratings

You can look up the facility here if it is a Skilled Nursing Facility. They might be discharging you to an LTAC - Long Term Acute Care or Sub Acute Rehab - these should have Star ratings as well. You are your best advocate - make sure you like the place and if you don't then move. If you want PM me the name of the facility and I will check it out with people who know it best - the sales reps!
