      Any press releases out there

I can confirm dime lines at Wil Hill books for mlb $-lines, 20-cent 1st 5/totals. Not bad, standard
The Golden Nugget Las Vegas is independent. Probably Golden Nugget AC will have the same lines.

I went to Monmouth Park in NJ on Saturday. Aside from offshore I don't have any other frame of reference, I've never been to a sportsbook in Vegas.

It just seemed very limited to me. Looked like it was just "bet the board" they had no self-service kiosks, and I don't think you can buy points at all. Like if an over under is 8.5, I don't think you can buy it up to 9. Again, never been to Vegas sportsbook so I don't know if that's a standard thing or not.

No live betting at all (though I'm sure it's coming eventually)

I was in Barcelona in February at a casino and they have these live kiosks that offer literally everything. Lower level tennis, random South American soccer matches.. that's the stuff I'd like to see. Not sure if they'll ever be offering that. But they aren't even a week in so I'm sure a lot more is coming.

If you want to buy points or do any funky parlays, you usually have to ask at the window in Vegas. The book manager will either say yay or nay. I've had the Mirage allow me to parlay a big underdog in boxing with other "normal" sports that way before. Soccer is limited to MLS usually, except maybe at Will Hill books. As far as tennis, El Cortez had a few selected early round matches at the French Open, but most places had nothing until the round of 16. You won't see Challenger matches on the board. Heck, even the French open wasn't on the board, you had to get the sheets of paper to see those odds.
Live wagering you will get on basketball or football, or maybe even hockey, but not normally with baseball. You need to check all the paper sheets they have to get your full options. In all the places I have been in Vegas, I have never seen a self service kiosk for sports. To cash out slot vouchers, yes. But for sports, no.

Legals places only have approx 60-70% of bet offers vs offshore
                Bet types about 75%

                It is a big difference

True that, but have you heard the saying "Give 'em enough rope, and they will hang themselves"? That is what 5Dimes, etc. do. They give you so many options, you can get nutty with your picks. The books certainly do hope you get all giddy and crazy with your wagers. The best chance of winning is limiting your picks and keeping it simple. Thusly, I don't care about 99% of those innumerable options.

Interesting, especially you saying you've never seen a self service kiosk in Vegas. I assumed they had them based on what I saw in England and Spain and figured those machines had tons more betting choices.

So how does live betting work without kiosks?

Just like online betting, during TV breaks, they bop a live line on the board. Then you have until the action restarts to bet it, at the windows.

You can't have true in-play live betting manually. Needs a computer/phone/kiosk as everything changes too fast.

Bottom line legal wagering a good safe second option vs offshore wagering
