#113Saw a live video tweet. Place is packed with degenerates. In the past, I would've thought this was so cool but with all of the options to bet now, it doesn't seem as appealing. Place looks dumpy. They should've renovated. Looks like a 70's style OTB. Almost looks pathetic. These people look like a bunch of seagulls on the Jersey Shore beach looking for food out of a dumpster. I live a little over an hour away from there. Have no interest in it.Comment -

#122Do we see further laws and possible enforceable restrictions against offshore?
US and it's states need to protect their interests. It becomes a trade and money issue for sure. It always has been, the US hates losing those dollars, but now congressmen may be a little more inclined to act and protect their industries.
Now that they can have the industry of gambling.Comment -

#125Major exchanges being forced to report, crypto was never really very "anonymous" as you needed to be attached to the ACH system anyway.Originally posted by jjgoldKVB Very hard because of crypto currency
Things are changing but under the guise and cover of KYC, the US may seek their taxes.
I think they may have more motivation now that the US has more competing business, outside of Vegas.Comment -

#129Maybe, but those States that were ready for it were certainly ready for it, already in action.Originally posted by jjgoldWhatever happens happens

But we also see the vig.
Bottom line is that these are financial markets and now you can have runners in different states. This will increase liquidity to a certain degree and could keep some big, market moving money around.
If that happens inefficiencies will get stamped out and everyone will be forced into the same pricing. The model the States have will start to fail simply by other states under cutting them.
Like you said, Vegas will get hurt at big events and they may act to make up for it.
Will be interesting but I think we have a handle on what's going on here.Comment -

Because of just that, they stay under the radar.
The same thing holds true for offshore.
You just have to know when not to coordinate bets and hit anyone harder than necessary within a small time frame.

#135If they’re tiny better as a couple hundred a game they don’t care but no max bettors are allowed to sit in the sports book and just bet week lines nowhere 1000% correct. All the runners are unemployed
Books don’t care about the little guy
All the managers know who they are also and some have already gotten banned from the property meaning not even allowed in the casino they don’t play around
They actually can get arrested if your banned Although most just an allowed in the sports book

#136it'll be elbow to elbow in there on a saturday. you will try to get in line to bet and you'll move an inch every 10 minutes. your game will go off before you can get it in, so now you have to wait for the 4 o'clockers and bet a game you do not like. you will say i cannot believe i came here to do this, i may as well go out in the apron and bet live horses and mutter i should have stayed home to bet my games like a normal person.Originally posted by pattymayoI’ll be at monmouth Park Saturday, very excitedComment -
