Hey guys, I had leaned on Boston last night but after looking at it today I'm dropping that play. Public is heavy on Boston and the line has gone down. Word is some of the sharps are betting the Nats. Its a no play for me as of right now, I don't like the price on WAS.

DD, I think that the Phillies with the inflated line are a decent value play considering how well Moyer has done against TAM in the past. The Nats might very well win, but I personally don't see the price being high enough to take. Best of luck though, I think thats got a decent shot.

Best not to over think it. The number one rule that I follow is this: Whenever you have a team (especially a road team) being backed by 70-80% of the public and the line moves towards the other team I am immediately suspicious and look to see if its a good fade. Doesn't always hit, but usually a good spot. This is even more true when dealing with games on ESPN, lots of public money come in on those games and the books are always setting up spots to rob the public.

Otherwise, just do your research, make sure the line doesn't seem to far off to suggest something suspicious (the books don't make many mistakes) and bet your side. At least that's what I would recommend. Trying to do to much will just overwhelm you.

I really think you guys can find waaaaaay better picks than the Braves...Wang pitched well his last time out. Plus it is one of the best american league teams at a mediocre national league team gettting +money doesnt make sense to take the braves here. IMO

Just read on the wired alert Howard is probable. He will prob play DH and we all know he could do some damage
