Trusting the Sixers to find a way to extend the series tonight. Boston’s athletic wings have really made it tough on them but basketball often comes down to makes and misses from the outside. Last game I thought Boston made some higher difficulty shots. Philadelphia shot quite poorly on some open looks. They now feel like they are playing with nothing to lose having gone down 3-0. I think that will free them up to shoot without hesitation. Boston on the other hand may begin to tighten up a bit and those perimeter shots they’ve been hitting will rim out.

I think the Sixers best chance tonight is if they jump out to an early lead. I expect them to lead at half and hold on for dear life in the second half. Simmons will need to attack early. If he can do that and find open shooters, they’ll be fine. Somebody like Ilyasova or Saric is due to get hot tonight. We’re heading back to Philly for a Game 6 Friday night.

I have the Warriors winning the series. Game 1 isn’t a huge deal for a team that has been through plenty of wars by now. I’m not sure if it goes the distance. Warriors in 6 seems like a decent outcome worth taking a stab on. I’m not dismissing a 7 game series though. I’m just not sure that Houston will win a game at Oracle.
