Rockets back in the friendly confines of their home arena. They carry the momentum from Game 4 into tonight’s game. The Warriors have been knocked out of their offensive flow by Houston’s aggressive defense (never thought I’d be praising the Rockets defensive intensity but here we are). Let’s face it. Both teams are a bit thin right now but especially Golden State. With Iguodala still questionable they’ve resorted to giving meaningful minutes to Nick young. Jordan Bell will be a good option down the road but his inexperience is showing. Golden State is really lacking in reliable wing depth. Look for the Rockets to play downhill off their defense. They’ll get the Warriors on their heels early and win by 10+ tonight.

The Cavs don’t stand much of a chance here but I do think they will hang in one of these first two games at Oracle and have a chance late. The Warriors depth is an issue for the majority of the game but when it gets down to crunchtime, the Cavs are simply outmanned. This series could be short like last year but I think the games will be more competitive.
