I had no video editing experience prior besides using the gopro studio and the basics of it such as trimming clips, adding text, audio, transitions, and effects shouldn't take more than a weekend to learn I don't think. If you've never or barely used video editing software before it can be intimidating looking, like a spaceship control panel or something, but if you start from the beginning with the manual and go through the examples it's fine. I think the really tough part is fine tuning it to exactly what you want and using some of the more advanced features.

I'm not going because while I know this is hard to grasp, it's not summer here during that time so I have a child to take care of in the midst of school. Unlike you I've been to two Bashes... one that took me two days to travel to. So whilst I'm extremely grateful that SBR has so generously invited me to go once again - and for those who have never been, trust me when I say they go above and beyond to treat every poster amazingly well - I sadly won't be at this one. The next time it's in the DR or CR and it's not smack bang in the middle of the school year, I'll be back with bells on!

I'd honestly wait closer to the Bash to book. I don't know what number you are on the waitlist but so many people drop out as soon as they have to show proof of flights and whatever. I'm not saying not to book on the Strip but it'd be a shame if you booked so early and were then offered a free room. Up to you though obviously! Either way you'll have a blast
