Well fuk, I got wait listed too. I'm up for rooming with someone, so more of us get a chance to go and participate. Like you guys said, really only need the room for a shower and change of clothes.

A few facts:
#1 - Not gay. Love women, always have, always will.
#2 - Causal drinker, non smoker. I can hold my own, but more into the quality rather than the quantity of booze now.
#3 - Sociable, outgoing person. Love a good conversation about anything, sports, music, poker, etc...

Looking forward to hitting the craps table with you. Golden Nugget only offers 3x4x5 odds so not the best place for craps (not to mention their 1 drink at a time policy) but other places downtown offer 10x. GN does have some great comps for table players though.

I was in Vegas Super Bowl weekend and here is what I saw for Black Jack. For 3-2 BJ payouts, there are very few $5 tables. Most will be $10 (and the Nugget was mostly $25 - was very busy when I was there). There are $5 tables but most pay out 6 to 5 for BJ’s (and possibly have restrictions on splitting and or doubling down.

I usually take the direct flight out of Newark on United. Newark is more convenient for me to get to and the United flights have always been smooth for me so far. I’ll probably go for a full week this time. I’m still deciding on exact dates and waiting to see if the wife is going.

Yea, 10x on $50 is a lot. I’d be broke in an hour! I usually start out with $5 on the line with $50 odds and a couple come bets to see how things go. At GN i’ll Play $10-$20 on the line with the 3,4,5 odds.

I’ll put you in touch with my host when we’re there. He’ll take good care of you. He hooks me up well and I’m a smaller player than you.

Old Vegas has many $5 tables. Golden Nugget will raise them on Friday and Saturday nights to $10 and $15. But the other casinos usually keep them at $5.
