we took 4 cuz dj wanted a 4th but even if we took 3, the mets were looking good to everyone. well, except razz...but man, they came back, but couldnt hold it... bs..

our parlays may be 1-5 now, but in parlay terms, thats just under .500

our straight plays are doing really well tho.. and if mike wants to talk any more trash bout the parlays, tell him to get his ass in here and contribute...

I merely pointed out parlays are very hard to hit on a regular basis and you will show a loss long term.

That doesn't mean I hope your bets your lose, on the contrary, I hope your bets win, seriously. I'm also repectful enough not to come on your thread and start making stupid comments, so please, stop confusing someones view on parlays with having to take heat from a hater.

it's okay guys... this is a new concept.. gotta work out the kinks... we will be alright... especially if we cover our asses with straight wagers... i havent been doing them, but im loading up on the dodgers tonite to cover this loss

but, if im not mistaken, this is the ONLY interactive thread on SBR where peeps come together to either win or lose as a GROUP... that alone makes this thread worthwhile...

Yeah, parlays are very hard to hit consistently, but we seem to be doing good with straight wagers. Hopefully those who don't like the parlays make out on straight bets. I started this thread to be innovative and positive.

While the success hasn't been overwhelming, the response has. I suggest those taking the parlays, play with a smaller amount than normal until we really hit our stride. And for those not participating but viewing what we do, I would hope they play our straight wagers. Those are looking nice.

Either way, this thread is bringing people of SBR together and that's always a good thing. Perhaps we can find ways to switch it up a lil, but this is new and it will take time...

Thanks TIK, but this is a group effort, and you never know who is going to get hot or cold. Plus, the Mets should have won, that was just a tough beat.

maybe we should do two 2 teamers for tomorrow?? one 2teamer for early games and one 2teamer for the nite games... maybe something simple like that to get us a couple more wins under our belt...

i had the dodgers last night and i got lucky. but tonite i felt the A's were due for a win . plus Randy Wolf has a bad cough problem and he started some medication which he says has been bothering him
