Thats true....IU still has Wilson's system. OSU is so good on the D-line that they can't run the ball but you can't play a 4 hour game and stay remotely close. Your D is going to die every time....they'll never have half the depth of OSU. What I was thinking was the Green Bay tactic. They go into hurry up but they still run the play clock down to 2 or 3....just keep the D from subbing in. IU was using those short throws to their WRs as their running plays.

This... You have to be smart with the hurry up. You want to give your defense a blow, so you hurry up just so the defense can't sub, which gives you the matchup advantage and wears out their defense by keeping them on the field.

Well thats why I don't bet my fav teams very often. It looked like the last OSU trip to IU with Cardale Jones (7 pt OSU win) but the shit snowballed out of control since IU had zero running game. Congrats OSU...same old same old

From what I saw the buckeyes got their guys cutting in the secondary to get in space. They needed to open things up somehow in the passing game and talent just took over. First half they couldn't move the ball for shit

-20 and the over... good start. That was a worn out defense and depth in that 2nd half guys. This wasn't a mystifying defeat. Once those 3 star seniors got tired on Indiana they were replaced by no star guys. When 4 star guys get tired on Ohio St, they get replaced with 4 star guys. A bit of an oversimplification regarding 'depth' but I feel like I've got to use crayon in case jj is reading this.
