#38I regularly bet huge favorites moneyline but I don't care road or home.
Just this last week I had $100 on USF to beat SJSU moneyline (I posted it was Stanford a few days ago but I was mistaken, it was USF. Bet $100 to win $4. And no I wasn't sweating cuz I never check the score until around the time I think it should be over.
i generally do moneyline parlays with college but never parlay 2 NFL moneyline favorites. I bet those individually.
And I love monster teasers (14 points plus). Great way to build the roll up.
As for the OSU line, I think it's a pretty solid line, right where it needs to be. Those 3 touchdowns will be covered with pick sixes alone. :-)Comment -

#39Ohio State's new OC is the Indiana coach that got fired. He's going to run the score up on those pusssies. Ohio State with an easy cover.Comment -

#42you are talking like OSU 2nd stringers couldn't beat IU 1st stringers. Which I believe they can. OSU recruits way better talent. Most of OSU 2nd stringers could be 4 year starters at IU.Comment -

#45Certainly can't lay the points. OSU can't help but look a little past IU to the following week with Oklahoma. Plus opening on the road. I would not expect OSU to be crisp. Final 34-17 OSU.Comment -

#46There is no reason for them not to be with many of the same players returning....new RB getting snaps tho...maybe a fumble? Also the D line for OSU is ocean deep....IND will not be able to run the ball....I expect WR screens and slants...that can only last so long...Comment -

Ohio State scores at least 50+ points. I don't think IU's offense will be near as good without Wilson there.
I say Ohio State wins 55-24Comment -

#50Yep. Kevin Wilson has a very good offensive mind. He always had Indiana scoring lot of points. Now he has better athletes to work with at Ohio State.

#54Leaning OSU here. Opening Thurs night game on ESPN. I don't buy the saving up for Oklahoma theory. Stanford had the same situation against Rice. OSU doesn't have to show a lot to pummel Indiana. Just the basics are good enough to blow them out. I think the 2nd unit will still be able to blow them out IF IT COMES TO THAT. Looking ahead to Oklahoma in week 2 is a good way to lose on the road in Indiana in week 1. Will make my final decision Thurs but that is what I am thinking right now.Comment -

#55I dunno if I trust Indy's offense. Their defense has been saltier than usual the past couple of years but they lost another RB to the NFL and the offensive line needs a rebuild with the loss of three starters including Dan Feeney who might be starting for the Chargers this year. They also will be missing the continuity of Kevin Wilson's offensive production and will be breaking in a new coordinator.
I wouldn't be shocked if Indiana covers but I don't see that much of an edge. Even if their defense plays respectable, if the offense sputters it's just going to provide Ohio State with too many opportunities to pull away and eventually they'll do just that with their edge in talent alone.Comment -

#61The problem with that is that it simply never happens until midway into the 4th quarter with a team up by 21 or more points. By that time, it will be too late for Indiana. I like Indiana + 13 1/2 in the first half at the Southpoint. If I decide to wager on the game, that will be my wager.Comment -

You put that in quotes as if I said it. I did not.
If Pouncey stays healthy, Ajayi will be booming
In a year when high producing RB's are really thin, you picked a WR first round who only scored 12 ppg last year. Good move Einstein.Comment -

I don't care what his ADP is. Look at his numbers when Pouncey was in the game and get back to me.
Was it risky? Yeah. But I go big or go home. Why play the safe in a league for points???
If you wanted a WR, you could have got a much better pick than that. You will be disappointedComment -

#70IU +21 for me! Indiana's QB Lagow had alot of ups-n-down last year, but now its his 2nd year and he looked pretty good at the Manning Passing Academy according to reports. They're pretty deep at WR and OSU's whole secondary from last year went early in the NFL draft. The Indiana defense is experienced and returns 9 of 11 starters
Main thing is...Indiana is hyping this up as their biggest game in school history. I think they'll ride on emotion for a little while atleast. I think BigDaddy might be right about the first half bet...but I took +21. I cashed Clemson big last yr on Ohio State in the playoffs. They're a little overrated imo. 5 road games last year and 3 were within a TD.
