if I want to buy anything in binance, I need to convert this ltc to BTC or ETH right? How do I do that? Do I sell the ltc and I'll have money in USD and just buy some eth or btc?

Sorry for the dumb questions.

Binance doesn't deal in dollars so basically you'll sell your ltc for btc, then sell your btc for whatever coin you wanted. Click the Exchange tab at top left, click basic. Right side of chart you'll see Favorites and tabs for BTC, ETH, BNB (Binance token) and USDT. Clicking on each will give you a list of all available pairs, i.e, BTC/ADA. Choose the pair you want and the page will change to that market. You can set a limit/market/stop order towards the bottom to convert your btc.

their all new(ish) crypto exchanges, none of the top ones are really more or less "shady" than the other at the end of the day. Everything about crypto is a risk, if you don't have the stomach to lose whatever you put in then I highly suggest you DON'T put it in...good luck!

It's not intended to be a long term store of value, more designed for everyday purchases, so the 84 mil makes more sense for that goal

As I look at L24 hour returns, currently Bitcoin is +5%. The next9 Coins on my list are all negative.

Is that going to be the story? Crypto space filling, us so the tradeoff is coin vs coin? If so, there should be some natural hedges to fill your portfolio.

It just seems like it wants to take off, so I'm willing to take a chance. Most of what I have is ETH and LTC. I should clarify, outside of the big 3 offered on CB, I mostly have XRP and ADA as a speculation.

So I've become very concerned about the future of bitcoin, cryptocurrency. With the repeal of net neutrality, and then the arrest of the lady from New York who used Bitcoin to funnel almost $100,000 to ISIS, I think I'm going to pull out my funds and wait until the middle of January to see what happens.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
