Let me guess, bitcoin is up to 25,000 and there's a perfectly logical explanation for it's meteoric rise.

Maybe it's because entire countries are replacing their fiat system with bitcoin. Or what Jakepeavy said

ouch... I took some btc at 17,800 to buy it not knowing btc would fall so when my new funds clear into gdax tomorrow I'm going to replace the btc I sold but at a better price.. I rarely sell an alt coin to buy another.

No complaints over here. This past month has been incredible. Seems like everyday I wake up and something is skyrocketing.

I purchased ADA with BTC when it was 0.15 and it said succeed, however 3 hours later it is still in “open trades” with no ADA added to my account. It shows the price i bought it at but its still 0 filled. Will I eventually get the ADA??

I'm guessing you did a limit order, which wouldn't fill unless price you set was attained, i.e. was trading @0.15 and your limit price was 0.14. A market order would be filled on the spot at best available price. If you did set a limit order it won't be filled unless the bottom drops out. You can cancel no problem but won't get that price. Take 10 minutes and learn the differences between limit/market/stop loss/etc. and you'll avoid these problems in the future.


Edit: See you posted you have "$450 invested at 0.12". If it was 0.15 at time of order then you made a limit order. That order won't be filled unless the price drops back to 0.12. Cancel and free up your money.

I love zcash.. bought some the same day I picked up cardano. . Zcash, cardano, monero and VeChain are some alt coins I love... going to put a limit order for ripple (small) because of the coinbase addition, I've been skeptical about the people involved but I think market cap it currently has it has underperformed so we may see a sudden increase based off that alone.
