Why is coinbase's price for bitcoin and ethereum different from binance. I mean they are close, but not the same.

Is it like 2 different sportsbook. 1 has line -3 (-110) other has -3 (-115)

different exchanges trade it at different prices.. that just the nature of the beast.. once again, buy on gdax, make the market by setting a "limit" order, and then buy that way. you won't get killed with fees. even if you buy at market price on gdax, its .25% as opposed to the 1.5% on coinbase.

Just set up a coinbase weed then purchase bitcoin from coinbase then send it to binance then trade it for iota once it's complete...

Yeah, I didn't know any better and got raped on the fees!

On another note as far as IOTA goes, any advice on taking the dive while it's trading for $2.93? Any predictions that it goes down in the near future? Never mind screw it, I'm just gonna go ahead and pull the trigger lol

worst case scenario buy more when it drops.. dollar cost averaging is everything in these volatile markets.

bought some at 2.71 about an hour or so ago. just set limit orders for what you're comfortable with. if it dips for a second, you win. if not, keep on top of it so you don't miss out completely.

just do your research on the companies and people working.. buy some Cardano (ADA), and if you're looking at ICO's take a look at Bloom. Some really good people on that team.

I sent some ethereum from coinbase to binance 4 hours ago and nothing so far..

in the transactions list on coinbase it's showing as pending with 0 confirmations...any ideas to speed this up or figure out what is going on?

Just use a bitcoin accelerator. Viabtc had a free one but not sure if it's still up and running.

Weird...I sent some bit from base to binance and it was approved and sent and available under 40 min.

I was helping someone get setup yesterday and they said their Coinbase account still showed 0 confirmations even though they could see confirmations showing up on their blockchain wallet end.

Coinbase may not be accurately showing the confirms?

it ended up going through on it's own..

it took almost 5 hours, which is by far the longest of any crypto transaction that I've done over about 2 years...was starting to get a bit worried, all good now!

coinbase is still showing the transaction as pending with 0 confirmations but it's been received at binance now

Had the same problem to bittrex. Got a real live person on the phone from coinbase (they do exist) they said their site is having some issues with accurately showing confirmations and that transactions are going through a bit slow right now

Had eth and ltc sends take about 4 hours

Take that as a blessing, if you plan on getting into IOTA the price now has dropped to $2.64 down from $2.93 when I bought in earlier today.

this was my first time using binance and they do not show the deposit as "pending" while waiting on the confirmations..every other exchange does and that was why I was getting a bit concerned but it eventually showed up.

ya I just bought some IOTA and Cardano..

I actually had some IOTA at bitfinex but they stopped doing business with those of us in the US...I cashed it out at around .30/per and missed a 10x upswing becasue I was too lazy to open an acct at another exchange or wallet to transfer it to...

I might be chasing lost profits but it is pissing me off when I look at it is going up everyday!! Now at least i have some in case it takes off but a lesson learned...
