Budweiser - "Drinkability"

It is what it is. The poster who compared it to Mcdonalds is right. There's a difference between a Kobi burger and a quarter pounder with cheese. The thing is, they each have a place. At 3:00am when I'm hungry, I like the fact that McD's is open to let me have some food. Like that, after mowing the lawn or doing something around the yard, I like a less complex beer. Guiness/Smithwicks are great, but when you are thirsty, it's Bud for me...

Bud's ok on tap only.. in bottles ? ehh.. but in cans it just tastes sickening to me.
Don't know why it tastes so bad to me in cans.
Another beer i hate in cans is Keystone, the Coors dredge.

Snowball, Coors is another terrible beer. Does everyone live in the mid west? I don't understand why drinking a Bud when you need a quick cold beer fix gets it done. Imagine, 100's of better beers can satisfy you better. No disrespect intended. I have a buddy who owns a great bar in a big city. The first thing he did was pull Bud. I asked him why would you do that? None of the regulars will come anymore. He told me that was exactly the point and it worked. LOL. I guess Bud attracts rats in that city at least. Bottom line. Bud is bad. If you love beer you have not truly lived until you have tried as many as possible. And, don't believe the English hype on beers. I think most are pretty horrible too. Start with US micro brews and then Belgians. That's whats good boys!

I would suggest that before you knock Budweiser.....

You should get yourself Beechwood Aged a couple of times and see if that might
change your opinion.........just saying.....

All of my friends drink Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light, etc.,...the urine of beers. These same guys put three creams and two sugars in their coffee. I only drink Guinness...and black coffee. Guinness is truly the best beer out there!

The Czech version is not related to the US Budweiser. Budweiser only has trademark in US only (there have been lawsuits). Plus Budweiser could not brew a beer that good. Drink American micro beer. I like these breweries - Rogue, Brooklyn, Flying Fish, Victory, Dogfish, Bluepoint. They just crush Budweiser.

I made some home brew this spring, but it turned out tasking kinda funky like wet dog hair and sweat socks. It still was better than Budweiser and it's all drank up.

I also got wasted at some party a couple months ago and didn't realize what kind of beer I was drinking from the keg, but the next morning I had a jackhammer headache and realized that it must've been Budweiser.

Budweiser is great if you like rice brewed beer aging in tree bark. Did a tour of the brewery in Jacksonville Fl. I asked what the difference was between Busch and Budweiser was. The answer - Busch is not beechwood aged . Good trivia question
