5.0 is insanely fast for a non professional athlete. It sounds easy, but I would be surprised if more than 5 on here could do it.

Everyone on any basketball team can do it no prob. Breaking 5 is not an accomplishment or feat, the difference between 4.9-4.7 and under 4.7 is HUGE. Anything under 4.6 is another huge step.

Track runners have 3rd 4th and even 5th gears albeit they don't hit 4 or 5 on a 40 but still most athletes casual or semi pro have only 2 gears. More than enough to break 5 seconds in a 40 yard dash.
