I had that much offshore once and only got stiffed out of 20k to WSEX and ESB. But, it is all good - pretty sure I got more than 20k in bonuses from my offshore buddies.

If it was just about the numbers - the offshores have that - but the money security - probably why the banking problem has existed for the last 10 years - nobody trusts the money and wants to collect on small amounts/which creates more banking.

Vegas would not be bad if all the SoCal people stayed away. Terrible group of people. I do miss the 10 am kickoffs and 6 pm Mon night kickoffs.
I lived there for years and would hate to move back. Not good to see the air you breathe from Mt Charleston. Or just brown desert. Ugly town really

The dream is always the same, it's 9:58 a.m. and I'm running in a wet bathrobe panicked trying to make it to the sports book at the Aria to get my baseball bets in. All dogs, 5k each. The clerk won't even give me drink tickets anymore because I've been kicking their teeth and so consistently for so long.

I make my way to the poker room where there's an open 50-100 No Limit seat for me, I buy the max. I play poker until about 1pm winning 32k.

I make my way to the sportsbook to cash my tickets.

After sleeping off the bloody Mary and 9 free beers I drank playing poker, I hit the pool for some sun and bunz.

Eat dinner with other degenerate fukks the whole time needling each other about big losses and bonehead plays.

Call strippers from the Spearmint Rhino, explain to them that I have $5,000 burning a hole in my pocket and I want 2 HOT ones!

Couple things.

1. Yes you can gamble on Sports on the internet much easier than you can in Las Vegas but Las Vegas comes with all sorts of other perks like all the most beautiful women in the country are there struggling trying to make it.

2. I guess I am just a big Square who never leaves the strip after reading some of the posts in this thread. To the posters who said the best things to do in Vegas are off the strip please elaborate. What are you doing Off the Strip that's better than anything on the strip?
