I do believe those dreams when bye-bye, after those computers kicked in so to further eliminate any chance a gambler would ever, ever, have a pray of beating the Books.
Why would that be?
Because these tight-arse's have the almost identical point-spreads and totals, leaving you [us] without a chance in hell of winning consistently.
The point: When you lose a major size wager by 1/2 point, and because you could not find that--would have been--winning 1/2 point out there in Bookmakers concrete heaven.
A Kings fortune has been lost by every serious sports gambler by that same, gut- wrenching, evasive, never to be found, 1/2 point.
There you go.
SBR sorely lack these Dreamers now... we had them years ago , young guns who were going to kill the 'man'
made for a better more vibrant forum

You have to be extremely extremely disciplined.
Not for everyone.
Money management.
It's different when you close your computer before bed to a larger account balance on a screen. But when your handed un-taxed cash on a daily bases per bet, game changes.

Sammy. you do not have to be in Vegas to live the dream! What we all need is numbers and the ability to move money fast to have access to all of the best numbers.
What does Vegas have that offshore does not have?
But, then again if you are in Las Vegas you can have all of those phone/online accounts with front money that is safe. To physically make a bet at a brick and mortar is very time consuming and a royal pain in the butt.
The days of good numbers at the Stardust are gone.
So, are those phone account numbers worth it to have?
Can a player be a better player in VEgas than wherever in America with good wi-fi?

Vegas gives you more outs. But if u live in vegas and stop playing offshore that is not smart either

Lived there 10 years sammy. Vegas is 24 hour drive from where i live. I keep a $1500 credit card clean in case i move back quickly. Vegas has the poker rooms and legal online sports and poker. Its the better choice then online. But sometimes a guy cant just move to Vegas

Moved to Vegas last May and still have money in my checking account. I mainly go to the local casinos especially now with pay parking on the Strip. Have 9 Vegas sports apps and 4 offshore accounts so no need to hit the books but do occasionally just to be around the sports betting scene. I receive a monthly annuity check therefore I"m just a recreational bettor and just happy to make $500/month from sports betting. Also I never play table games.

Ocala? What the Fuk? How did you switch so fast from borrowing like a loser[ you said] a month or two ago, to a "pro," now? I am dying to know?
