Not necessarily. With the rising use for it as a mode of payment and sanctions close to being lifted in china, the value can only go upward. What this is doing is making it more convenient to move cash around where as worrying about time delays from traditional bank wires holds up transactions.

oil is speculative as well as sharehold of a corporation, this is just a new form of monetary promise. One we should have been using a while ago... copper coins still in rotation and people counting out Bitcoin. Don't buy into the nay Sayers

Roger Ver (Bitcoin Jeses) is promoting BCH. His company bitcoin.com will allow you to purchase BCH with a credit card soon. He's hoping that BCH will be branded BTC by the end of the year.

SegWit2x was hoping to get the BTC brand but there wasn't enough consensus. BCH solves the current block size problem for BTC. BCH transactions are cheap and fast.

Go to Gdax.com (coinbases trading platform) and initiate the buy through there. .3% as opposed to the 1.5% on coinbase. If you have a coinbase account your username will be the same, no need to register. You may just need to authenticate via photo ID.

Bitcoin holders at the time of the hard-fork that created Bitcoin Cash on August 1, 2017, received an equal number of Bitcoin Cash coins. That is, at the time of the hard-fork, if you owned two Bitcoins, you received two Bitcoin Cash coins after the hard-fork.
However, Coinbase Bitcoin exchange subscribers will have to wait. They will not receive their equivalent of Bitcoin Cash until January 1, 2018
