but doesnt Instadebit make a couple of small deposits at the beginning to verify all is well ?

I go through a local, so I'm not sure..

I know when I used to go through those third party sites, they all used to verify the account one way or another prior to allowing transactions.

i havnet used instadebit in years as well. But i know that with Idebit which is similar. You can't even deposit unless the name of the bank matches the name on account. Im sure instadebit would be the same. (id probably have more then the dozen b365 accounts i already have )

Biggie12 I thought my name would be the issue too but my local branch told both names David Da Huang and David Huang would go through successfully. My Instadebit account name is David Huang because Instadebit didn't ask me for my middle name.

Anyways I already took several precautions by sending Instadebit all the necessary documents for them to double check my account details before even my transactions were voided.

Well I don't know why it bounced, THAT IS THE PROBLEM. I gave them the correct bank account number, institution number, and transit number. Even through the deposit failed, Instadebit failed to correct it according to the documentation I sent them.

Exactly, see this is where the story falls apart for me. Instadebit sets an initial limit of 3k on the account without verifying the account. You said you deposited $4.9k, which would mean you verified the account. However, you say the small deposits were rejected, thus rendering verification impossible.

My bank account name is David Da Huang but when I signed up with Instadebit they only asked me for my first and last name. But when I went to my local bank branch the teller told me both names David Da Huang and David Huang would work.

This is where you made your big mistake.

All 3 account names 1- Pinnacle 2- bank account - 3 - Instadebit should have been perfectly matching and exactly the same.
