I believe rates are going up, because the hospitals and doctors can't fudge their uninsured numbers anymore.
If everyone has insurance, hospitals can't lie about their uninsured numbers.

Hospitals are used to all that money rolling in from the govt. Now it's drying up. They go to the insurance companies
crying they aren't making any money. With the insurance companies in cahoots with hospitals, our rates go up.

Don't know where you guys live, but I have 6 hospitals within a 5 mile radius of me.

I'm all for subsidizing the tiny percentage of people who had no coverage...there's money in the system for that. Just has to be allocated but for god sake why why why would you flip upside down 95% of people in order to help 5%. I entered in a bunch of random options into the healthcare.gov to look at the silver snd bronze plans...it's true that the poor get tax credits and sunsidies that are figured into the final prove shown but that's misleading...basically you get an $850 plan for just $200 a month but that's still $200 that you have to pay for premium monthly and then still have deductible limits etc. the people it's trying to help don't have $200 to spend. There's your disconnect. If Hillary gets in it will be more of the same until she pushes for the single payer model....if Trump gets in look for health savings accounts and more pay for service fees.

I don't know man, you go down a slippery slope when you start telling people they have to be insured or pay the price. I agree definitely need car insurance but medical is going too far imo. All I know is before Obamacare health care for my family was a lot more affordable. Now it's not only more expensive but then in many cases the insurer people had, and were happy with, was no longer an option.

$571 monthly for me and my wife and it's going up to $810. Even tho I'm able to deduct it, I think it's time to lose the platinum package and take it down to something cheaper. We never use it anyway, what a waste of money.

He promised he would even carry it live on c-span so that all Americans could see for themselves. The plan is going back to the way it was.. Where health care providers compete against each other to lower premiums for the people..

You wipe out Obamacare and bring back normal free trade.. People call and shop around for the best policies to suit their needs like any insurance policy you would get.. It's not rocket science, it's actually very simplistic...

The poor go back to getting free healthcare through County or Emergency Hospital visits where by law they can't turn them away if they can't afford health insurance....
