while drinking some green tea and admiring the view in the backyard this morning, I spotted a gopher eating some of my flowers...I could see those teeth glistening in the sun...I poured a big jug of water down the hole but the water never rose to the surface...these little fuckers probably have built a complex labyrinth down there

after all the rain recently, I have all these weeds and wild flowers popping up and the ground squirrels and gophers love them. my backyard is a bit of an eye sore right now so I think I'll just let them feast and hopefully they will eat all the weeds so I don't have to hire and pay a gardener and then move on to someone else's yard

I have to pay $50 for 2 guys that take 15-20 mins tops for a quick mow and edges job. And that's cheap here.
