I went to a Trump rally in Washington State. I along with about 8,000 others packed into the fairgrounds to listen to him speak. It was peaceful, everyone minded their own business, respected each other, and got along.

We leave the rally and are immediately confronted by a bunch of angry protesters wrapping themselves in Mexican Flags, with only a line of police in riot gear separating us. They blocked the parking lot so we could not get out and they chained themselves to each other so they were hard to remove from blocking said parking lot.

Kraken, tell me who you would rather have in this country.

The Trump supporters who mind their own business,

or illegal Mexicans who pledge no allegience to the USA at all and wrap themselves at Mexican flags and attack Trump supporters exercising their 1st amendment right to peacefully gather to hear a candidate speak?

Agree on why a non career politician would make an impact. Trump is not the guy you want as face of nation for the rest of the world. His track record at screwing almost everyone he does business with is deplorable. He would rather drag a small business through costly legal action than pay them for services or product rendered. I know it doesn't matter to the Trump backers here as none of them have ever owned a business or held a job that a guy with a HS diploma could get but his background is just as bad as these career politicians.

Hilary is awful too but to drag Bill into it is dumb. To play devil's advocate, (Ken Starr) the guy who spearheaded the impeachment hearings is now a proven hypocrite and a deplorable human being for his role in covering up numerous assaults against female students while serving as president at a major university. you know all of this is irrelevant, because one of two things will happen. either he will quit because his numbers will undoubtedly tank when the Bernie S people get on board. And they will, because he will make some great motivational speeches to them. When trump realizes those numbers are bad he might very well quit. What will keep him from quitting if he knows he is going to get killed, he is a narcissist and he would rather make up some BS story than get clobbered much like Goldwater. Plus he has no character that is obvious, he has no sense of duty to his supporters, the R party and even his country. So if he quits it would not surprise me at all.

If he sticks it out he gets killed, these dreamers that think he can make up for an almost 70% unfavorable with women are just that dreaming. When they protest that HC has bad numbers too they overlook the fact that if you have a 60 to 70% unfavorable with women well common sense says those women will vote for HC. If that happens how can Trump win. Forget about the fact that his unfavorable numbers are bad with almost all demographics the one exception white males, well he has no chance.

Granted a long time until election but the mind of a woman is different than that of a man, they don't forget. They don't forget and the HC campaign will keep reminding them over and over and over.

Irish, that is one way to look at it, it has some logic.

However, I think if Trump gets killed it just might wake up the R party. They might say, hey we really do need to change. You know that large tent they are always talking about, the BS one. The claim that they are open to all people, yeah as long as you are white and old. Maybe another clobbering in a national will wake them up and the R and D can have a real, adversarial but cooperative relationship and the people will benefit.
