I haven't bet online in about a year but when I was online I was using 5Dimes and TheGreek. 5Dimes was great because I bet alot of Canadian football league and they offered the highest limits of any book. As soon as I started winning larger bets in CFL my CFL limits were cut down to practically nothing.

The other issue I had with them was the max you could cash out per check was 2.5K or whatever it is. At the time I had 10K I wanted to cash out of there, they stated that you could request one check per day (so within 4 days I should have had all the money out of there) but this never actually happened. They started playing games saying that I could not request a 2nd check until the 1st had been received, and there were random payment processor delays that would show up. And everytime they would ask me, "but we would be more than happy to put the funds back into your account if you'd like", as if they thought I was stupid enough to gamble it away.

Don't get me wrong 5Dimes is a good book, good customer service, good software, good lines, good limits...but if you're someone that is betting upwards of a few thousand a game and you're a consistent winner don't expect them to keep sending you checks for thousands of dollars without your limits being cut or trouble cashing out more than the maximum amount of cash.

However, if you are a more serious bettor who knows what he's doing, they will continue to cut your limits rendering the book useless.

I understand they are in business to make money and dealing with sharper bettors is probably not worth the headache to them. However, in my opinion, no book should receive a perfect a+ rating if they openly admit they don't want to do business with sharper bettors and 5 dimes has made this fact 100% clear.

An a+ rating should signify a book which is top notch in every way and 5dimes is not since they are refusing to offer service to higher limit, sharp players.

This was a year ago so I don't know if things have changed. For me my main concern is being able to get money in, win, then get the winnings out. As long as that happens I'm a happy guy. Eventually it was too much hassle so I cashed everything out online and am now playing with locals, although when you are a winner with locals they also won't let you play with them.

The one book online I never had issues with was TheGreek. However their limits are too low on CFL and whenever I would call they would never give me more. If I ever do jump back online for NFL I'll be online with TheGreek. To me they are overall more professional than any other book and I never had a single problem with their payouts. Matchbook is another one I would consider trying out.

Honestly it's not that I play big, but 1K here and 1K there added up to that amount over time. I did eventually get all the money out but it took about a month to actually receive all the checks, which is not what they state as being possible. They state that you can request checks for the maximum on a daily basis, but this wasn't true for me. It was a hassle to get the money out but I did get it out and the checks cleared, thats really what matters. 5dimes is a good book in my opinion, every bookie/online sportsbook is going to treat winners different than losers. As soon as you show you can win over a period of time you get treated different and suddenly all these extra rules show up.
