I tried to warn folks about this one earlier in the week. USC will ALWAYS have a more talented group of players, across both sides of the ball, than Utah will at any given time, in any given year. Top talent doesn't come through the prep years and then decide that Utah will be their destination at the next level. This is like the game two years back when everyone piled on Fresno State vs a disrespected USC squad: Different game but same leaky thought process in handicapping the squads.
