It's based off of talent...usc has no heart ...utes are all heart ....usc isn't a tough team ....utes are a tough team .... I will leave this one alone. Too much unknown about how the team rallies around the interim coach. Last time he took a team over mid-season, they got some of their grit back and won a lot of games. Otherwise I would load up on Utah ML. They have everything to play for, USC is trying to make a mid-tier bowl.

It was confirmed that team captain and 2cnd leading tackler, starting linebacker Jared Norris won't play for the Utes today. He is arguably the best player they have on defense, and he runs the defense on the field. Hardly "inside information". It's not uncommon for a team leader and a key position player to move a college line a few points when they're confirmed out. I think it's a bit of an "over correction", especially since the Utes should never have opened worse than pick'em against this USC version of a disaster. USC is soft as ice cream against physical running teams and I'll gladly take the Utes and 7 points in this one.

I'm very tempted to take Utah. Normally, I would hammer this shitty line. But I've fell for the okey doke too many times.

Utah 2nd half might be a big play though. USC still have depth issues and if they go up to a big lead, Utah will most likely come back a bit.
