USC -3.5 VS (3) Utah Line Jumps To -7 Within Minutes Come On! LOL

USC may not be a great team, but what's so freakin' great about Utah? Their bubble is about to burst tonight. The talking heads are hyping them up like a BCS playoff team but I'm not buying it. The Trojans will be up for this game. It's at their house and they would love to knock off a top five team and get some of their mojo back. Travis Wilson is such an average quarterback and he doesn't scare me in the least. The Trojans will load up to stop the run and make Wilson beat them. He won't. I'd rather back Kessler in this contest all day.

I watched a Cal team go into Utah and damn near win outright, had it not been for a spate of uncharacteristic turnovers... the same Cal team that got undressed by the Bruins Thursday night.

My point here is that nobody should be shocked at the line or it's movement. Utah hasn't proved a whole lot this year. USC has looked vulnerable at times, but they matchup well with Utah. I think the Trojans win and cover.

They've beat Michigan, Oregon, Cal, ASU. Are any of those teams much worse than USC?

Michigan was the first game of the year. It's a win, but I almost toss it out when handicapping this week. Oregon played with Lockie at quarterback and the game got away from them. Plus, the Duck defense has been abysmal. Like I said, Cal almost beat the Utes at home, and the Bears are an average team with a great quarterback. Arizona State is a typical up and down Pac12 team. The Trojans dismantled them in Tempe. Thus, I believe Utah is a paper tiger. USC is no world-beater either, but this feels like the right spot for them to pull it together for the win.

USC's strength is passing the ball, which is Utah's weakness defensively. On the flipside, Utah tends to rely on Booker too much and Wilson is going to have to show that he can make plays with his arm, on the road, in a prime-time atmosphere.

Utah also has more to lose in this game. USC maybe plays a bit looser... as if they were the underdog, even if Vegas says they aren't.

All you Utah backers need to stop crying and scratching your head as to how this could happen. I cited legitimate reasons at the top of this page as to why Utah was going down in flames tonight... one of them being that Travis Wilson is a bona fide BUM. There's nothing fishy or shocking unfolding here. This is what happens when an overrated team walks into a hornets' nest.
