taxes should be 10% to 15% max and the tax form should be the size of a postcard. You make X amount you multiply it by the flat tax and you are done. Simple. Less cheating will happen.

The only reason the tax code is tens of thousands of pages long is because politicians have been bribed to make it that way and to have more control over the people. A flat tax would add more money in people's pockets and more power to the people. Sadly, some people will defend these scumbags and even support more taxes because they are stupid. No other way to say it. Even when there's overwhelming evidence (19 trillion debt) of incompetence and lies, stupid people will still claim more taxes is the answer. Spending is the problem. when did so many people find it acceptable for their government to go debt for 19 trillion with nothing to show for it? Infrastructure is getting worse and the debt is there because they are fixing it. The US taxpayer just spent 43 MILLION on a gas station in Afghanistan. That could have been better spent in Flint, Michigan on the water system, wouldn't you agree?

Our seniors didn't have to pay for medicare, now it only covers 80%. The other 20% comes out of their pockets

I claimed ~ 68,000 on my taxes yesterday and I get a $500 welfare check. I did not have a dime taken out of a "check" for federal taxes in 2015. No wonder the nation is so far in the red.

listen guy, congress has a 9% approval rating for a simple reason: they don't pursue the policies that the public wants (i.e., bernie's entire penetrating agenda). if the revolution is successful (i.e., we put bernie in the white house), it seems reasonable to believe that bernie would be able to mobilize that army in a way no other president in the history of our country has done (i.e., using the bully pulpit to galvanize public support and calling for mass acts of civil disobedience to force action from oyster republicans).
