Right now my vote can be had, Trump is a blowhard, I despise Hil, however Bernie is not answering the questions.
What's going to happen to the 1/2 million health care workers that would be eliminated if his single payer health care plan went into effect.
His single payer plan is 4 trillion dollars a year short of his proposal.
You can't tax the average person that much.
Free college, first off, it's not really free.
Students would have to pay for room, board, and all living expenses still.
Where's the 75 billion coming from for the 'free college'

Sounds good, but it's going to create a gigantic shit storm.
I'm all for helping the poor white, yellow, black or purple guy who all he/she needs is an education to get a leg up, that's all I needed was an education and I got one, but what he wants and how he proposes to get it is not possible, there are too many holes, big holes big enough to drive a Peterbilt cab 18 wheeler though.
His plans sound great to the instant gratification generation that don't want to hear the arguments against his ideas.
You try to talk to the instant gratification 24 year old that is on board with Bernie that the free college plan of his sounds good on the surface, but the problem with it is "this, that, and the other thing facts" and they don't want to hear it because now you're invading their 'happy space'.........
Big ideas, not thought through is the problem I mainly have with Bernie.
God forbid though I have to suffer 4 years of Hilary or Trump.

Problem with Sanders is he sits up there telling people free this, free that but who the fuk you think will end up paying for all his stupid ass free stuff? Sure sounds great, but in reality it's a bunch of bullshit. If you like Sanders you are probably someone that loves free handouts or wants a government to do everything for you but wipe your ass. Some of you guys make it seem like America will be the only country with a single payer system. Some of you sound like you've never heard of free tuition and reduced schooling cost. For one thing. Doctors, hospitals and the insurance industry would not allow single payer.
Let's do some math.
Say you pay $500 a month in insurance times 12 months equals $6k a year. A person making $50k a year, that's 12%
from his salary. Throw in 5k in deductibles before insurance kicks in, that's another 10%. He's paying 22% out of
his pay just for insurance. A person making less is paying a higher percentage.
Do you think Sanders would raise our taxes 22% to pay for single payer?
I like the Repubs idea to be able to cross state lines for competition and make some of health insurance costs
tax deductible.

Some people are so ignorant to who actually pay taxes. The top 1/5th of americans pay 83.9% of federal taxes (while over 40% of americans pay NONE). The Laffer Curve shows that 1) you can't overtax the wealthy and 2) there isn't even enough wealthy people to tax to pay for Sander's promises.
Forbes estimates if you took every billionaire in USA, their total net worth would be 1.7 to 2 trillion. You could take all their money, and that's about 10% of our total federal debt, leaving the other 90% unaccounted for.
Sorry but our GDP to debt ratio is already out of hand. Sanders wants us to be like Finland or Denmark (little pocket countries of 5 million people), but there's a good chance we end up like Greece.Comment -

College won't be "free" it will just be someone else paying for it. More than likely the people who are already paying for their kid to go to college.
Professors,janitors,advisors,cafeteria workers all need to be paid
Buildings have to be repaired
Campus has to be upkept
Who is gonna pay for all that?

When you have "free" college you'll increase demand and academia will respond by giving themselves a large non incentivized wage increase and start spending on unnecessary projects.
The degrees will be worthless because everyone will have them. Social sciences are a complete waste of time, even now.
