bernie and his supporters will be sure to bring up the #BernieOrBust movement. i've seen polls that say 1/5 bernie supporters will not support hillary under any circumstances. i expect that number to grow as that oyster continues to insult everything we stand for. so this simple fact really debunks the myth that hillary is the "safe bet", and bernie is a gamble, when the truth is: it's the complete opposite.

So what do you propose once the disparity between the cost of living and your hard earned wage is such that something as simple as a litre of milk represents something like 3-4% of your total wage.

For the current system to work the rate of inflation must be at pace with the rate of wage increase and we've seen that not be the case for some 3 decades now...

And dont say they should get another job ie scapegoating...

These are the hard task type questions that need to be resolved if people are to have a fighting chance heading into the future...

I'd rather companies keep what they earn and expand...means more jobs and better stuff for us customers. Extra money also means they can acquire smaller companies who might want to sell...you know...how Google Microsoft and Shell and Walmart does....makes those people money and gives them the means to keep creating stuff.

I guess it comes down to this....when did we start thinking the govt will help things if they merely take more money. We've tried that distribution for 60+ years and yet the overtly levels have risen. I always wonder why everyone hates the bankers fur getting a million dollar bonus but are just fine with a rapper getting $10 million for a song or a baseball pitcher getting $90 million....seems sort of hypocritical. Or Sean Penn being worth millions and telling everyone else they should pay....Michael Moore earning tens of millions off capitalism then demonizing it or get this....he's mister anti gun and hates gun owners but lives in a place that has armed guards....it's fine for him just not others.

America is behind Europe in terms of income inequality. 2. Virtually all senators and most representatives are from the top 1 % and know that if they serve the top 1 % they will be rewarded by the top 1 %
3 The chances of a poor or middle class citizen making it to the top in America are smaller than in many European countries and in all other advanced countries.
4. Almost a quarter of American children under age 5 live in poverty. Among developed countries , only Romania has a higher rate of child poverty. Those children have almost no chance of living the American dream.
5 We spend more on healthcare than any other country.
6. If tax rates on return capital were simply equal to the rates imposed on those who actually work for a living , we could realize an extra $2 Trillion dollars in ten years.
7.While economic forces cause gaps between rich and poor , public policy on taxation , the minimum wage , health care , and education are more responsible.
8 People who are well off and live apart from those of lesser means are divorced from economic problems faced by the shrinking middle class.

Give tax cuts to the rich/ corporations and watch the economy soar! At what point do they realize it doesn't work?

Nobody likes to pay taxes, but to enjoy a free society, a strong infrastructure and a strong economy, EVERYONE
