I capped each teams win totals and had sf under 80.5

Not sure if LAD have enough pitching. Dont trust Kuroda or Kershaw (yet). Lineup is stacked, esp if Loney realizes his potential and Kemp plays like he did last month and a half last year.

I like the Rays pitching so I could see that

SF would be lucky to get to 80 with that lineup. I do like their staff a lot though. Is this the year Cain breaks out?

i dont think the brewers will win 83 games this year, they are lucky that they play in a diviosn with houston and pittsburgh, but they are going to be 4th place, cincy is better

dodgers and cubs will win their divisions easily. rays will win theirs. The only pick im rethinking is cleveland but its early so who knows.


dodgers have more hitting than anyone in that division with holiday gone. the dbacks have 2 great starters, and an average, at best, pen. the dbacks also have 7 guys who cant get on base and one awesome hitter (steven drew), there is no reason LA doesnt win that division unless manny gets hurt. AZ cant hit, and if webb is injured, they are ****ed. they need upton, chris young, and either reynolds or byrnes to hit this year. or at least get on base. they swing and miss a ton, they have a pretty lousy middle of the infield defensively, and they have no closer.

i did have some projections for wins, i have texas as going over their 73.5 OU by 3-7 wins. i have the tigers at like 77 wins, dodgers for 92 wins, rays for 95. It took me awhile but i figured out win totals for every team. Im trying to get paid for writing rather than wagering, as i think wagering is a massive waste of time. but i do agree, texas will be fun to wathc, and thats my hometown team,. they have no pen at all, and pretty crappy pitching after their top 2, who arent good either (paddy, milly). I wish they would move hamilton to left or right, but i guess they cant put jones out there just yet.

i said mets will make loffs, wont supirse me one bit if they win the division. they spent enough money, they should win the division. they need luis castillo gone, and they still have only one starter worth a shit

if hamels is hurt or not himself, philly is in trouble, but i expect, im pretty sure, theyll make the loffs one way or the other. the mets will too

thats mostly why i think the phils win the east, yes. the mets have a great pitcher, but nothing beyond him. whereas at least the phils have solid guys in blanton and myers. we will see, i hope the phils arent fat and happy, you never know

Warts all over the NYM staff.....Maine (although I like him as a small fav tmrow at FLA), Perez, Pelfrey. If NY could just get guys that could take them to the 6th or 7th and they can piece mill their way into the 8th Putz and K Rod will be tough.

FLA and ATL will also win 73 games IMHO, making NL East a very tough division

this is kind of the problem with sbr, my friend. its 3 games in, it means nothing. i also project the braves to win in the high 80s.
if you think any team isnt capable of 3 good, or 3 bad games, i would say wtahc more mlb games. its 3 games in. 3! the marlins and rangers are both undefeated, the yanks almost got swept in baltimore, and the indians are winless. if you want to project anhything off of those 3, good luck, but i promise the standings will be completely different in just 7-10 days.

Ryan, Braves lineup has no pop. I am a lifelong Braves fan, like the staff we have in place, think Cox is one of the best 5 managers in the game. But we have no power and our bullpen is a question mark. I would be happy/surprised with 80 wins.

Kicking myself for being too lazy to get off the couch from watching Masters. Tommy Hanson was pitching for Richmond tonight at Charlotte, 20 mins away.
