We give a lookse toward the Pirates on the road against the hot Rockies. Pittsburgh has been hitting good of late and the Rockies are hyped up with the linesmakers. Marquis at the mound with the -155 trap line is sucking in the squares. Screw it, we are not taking a lookse, it's the selection.

I am so glad that Interleage is over. We made money, but I had to come up with a new system for that and it worked. Not sure how good it is in the long run.

However we are back to normal baseball.

Ok not sure why the line change in the Houston San Diego game tonight. Houston started out -125 on the road with Hampton coming back from a groin injury. He is up agaist a average/not real good guy in Banks. Who has done very little relief stuff stuff this year. He has not been proven to go any lenght of time during a 9 ining game.

My book currently has Hampton as a EVEN play now. Padres -120. I can not lay 120 on an un proven guy even it the game is in San Diego. Giles is out, Padres are scrambling to put a team together.

Now as for the Astros they are only 4 games out of first place in their division. Key Factor for me is LANCE BERFKMAN is now HITTING and the Astos have been playing some good defense.

Also key note the Stros have owned the Padres this year and last year. They are going for their 7th straight victory against the padres tonight. I believe they wil do it.

Gonzalez is a key bat for padres and he has been silenced as of late.

My play tonight is Astros at EVEN money.

I was following it on CBS Sportsline here at work and they blew a lot of scoring chances in the first 3 innings. 3rd inning they had runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. Could not even get a sac fly! I guess that is why they are the Nats. Keem'em coming PiMike!

lol was lucky it started at 12 and had something to do and ain't get home till almost 1, but that Mets pick was great ... I also missed last night astros game, but that was a bad beat
