haha they should make a pick that says what counts towards total bases? and the choices are just hits or hits, walks, and hit by pitch. then they could interview an umpire at 8:00 and whatever answer he gives would win. alot of streaks would be broken and i bet it would be 50%-50%

The Josh Hamilton one is hit/walk vs. any other result. I definitely should not pick it, but I hate missing out on the times they actually allow you to get extra picks in (late night, morning, afternoon). I decided to read the comments.

Ummm, there are a lot of possibilities besides hit/walk, which the second idiot correctly pointed out. However, if he got pulled from the game or got ejected and had no third PA, it would obviously be a push.

Poor wording by the idiots at ESPN.com, too. It should read third plate appearance. It's obviously what they mean, but they wrote at bat.
