i drove 100mph once on a deserted freeway at midnight. That was scary as hell in my Honda.

My vision is far too bad to drive and I rely heavily on friends/family and such but as soon as I move to Phily I will be fine. I am very acquainted with their transit system for better or worse.Comment -

I have OC2 and nystagmus which combined = no muscle in back of eyes to control eye focus and no pigment to develop the cones and rods for focusing also. So I'm boned either way. I can still see well enough to go about business as usual and most people I meet have no clue I'm legally blind but it shows when it comes to seeing things at a distance or reading small print.Comment -

#19Fastest was a Mustang GT at 225 kmh/140 mph, but the most promising was a Chrysler 300C, which turned out to be electronically limited to 205 kmh/127 mph
. There was still a lot of room left and it seemed to get up there faster than the Mustang.

#20havent ever driven anything that powerful, so I'll say 85-90 mph. Just never really felt the urge to go that fast plus the highways here are swarming with cops so its not worth it

Classic bit of French cinema. What's disappointing is that the soundtrack is fake... Lelouch used a Mercedes but decided to dub his Ferrari's engine sound over it to exaggerate the sense of speed.

#28was with a group a friends in high school after a football game on I-65 heading to Louisville and the dude had a 69 Olds with a 455 quadrajet, speedometer went across the dash and i think it went to 120, he had it pegged and we were starting to float a little so he slowed back down.
had a childhood buddy who had a 90 or 91 Saleen , i think the speedometer went to 140 and we got it up to around 130 for a short while.
drove an old friends GSX 750 out on a country road up to a little over 100 for a few seconds, probably got from 20-30 to 100 in like a couple seconds, that bike was super fast , previous owner had tricked it out.Comment -

#32148-49 in z28, 140 on fzr..75 in to the back of a big rig that was stoppd in my chevy2500, .28bac, broken neck in 4 places, 4 ribs, collapsed lung, broken top jaw, ****ed up knee and a huge pain killer addiction to this day, sad but pain killers really helped to improve my poker game, no joke alot more patient. Not to mention busting 4 teeth out and my 2 front tops were buried in my gums so deep they thought they were gone for like 2 days till they took an x-ray and I had emergency surgery to pull em down, over 30 stiches in my mouth and they lived which was crazy but were still discolored so now I have 6 fake teeth on top..
crazy that these speeds never seemed that fast to me till I read your pussy posts, Ive driven faster than alot of u have.... in traffic lol.. not even kidding.Comment -

#33My mother let me drive her 79 Corvette when I was 17. I was young and dumb. Topped out at least 140+ and sort of felt the front end lift. I let off and was shaking at the time. Never tried that again anywhere that I recall. Lesson learned.

#35I know I've reached triple digits on a bike and a car while at the wheel. But I believe the fastest I've ever been in a car was my uncle's '67 Vette, about 120 on old Hillcroft in SW Houston. Thing could fly, which was fitting since he flew B52s and F111s for Uncle Sam.Originally posted by The GeneralMy mother let me drive her 79 Corvette when I was 17. I was young and dumb.
