Archie I have had many job interviews in my day...and probably about 6 different jobs.
In all 6 jobs I got, they told me on the spot that I got the job, not we'll call you...
I have had maybe 3-4 interviews where they said thanks...we will contact you when we make our decision....and they usually never called, and when I called them they said they filled the position already...
By saying "we'll contact you later" means that you didn't get the job from my experience...
