After psychoanalyzing the situation, i believe he gave it to Kenny (sweep) b/c he is always so fukking dazed and fukking out of it because of the blow that he figured an expresso or some juiced up coffee would do him some damn good so he could have the energy to plow his driveway more often..... he figures the more caffeine he feeds Kenny, the more his driveway is done.... hence, next time you may get a $10 Starbucks gift card, etc.

Sweep, I'm not a big Starbucks drinker, but I can tell you one thing...more than likely they bought those 5 dollar cards in bulk and they keep them around specifically for the events like this (someone shows up uninvited with a snow blower, lawn mower....etc)

If you go online to buy a gift card from that place, you won't be able to find anything for less than $15. Most $5 cards that you can get individually would be e-cards that you have to print out.
