#74he gets rid of the ball quick because he is throwing against garbage that doesn't cover shit. Lets see how he does against a defense that can actually cover people instead of three out of four guys wide open.Originally posted by The KrakenI see Moreno having a good game. Seattle's strength is their secondary, not their front 7. That allows them to single coverage more often but I promise you, Manning is better than the Seattle secondary. They haven't faced anyone near as smart as Manning. He gets rid of the ball quick. He may get sacked once but he doesn't get hit often. Too smart. He'll audible at the line and things should open up for Moreno as Seattle realizes they cannot win in man to man.
I'll bump this after the gameComment -

#75lebron was awful in the finals three years ago. Had a lot of help two years ago and last year if it wasn't for Allens three late he would have lost that one. He should be fine this year tho. Indy is the better team but when the refs take Hibbert out of the game for Lebron like they do every time Miami beats Indy, he can drive freely thru the lane. No susperstar in the history of sports needs as much help as Lebron. Now they go get him Odom. Maybe they can somehow get Durant off of Ok City to help him out.Originally posted by SteelRainI will hope manning wins so he can finally stfu the haters like lebron did the last 2 years.Comment -

#77Your source is wrong. Hasselbeck was the SEA starting QB in 2001 and 2002. What is the source? Your mom?Originally posted by vyomguyNo. You are wrong again.
Matthew Michael "Matt" Hasselbeck (born September 25, 1975)[1] is an American football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL).[2] He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. After a season on the practice squad and two seasons backing up Brett Favre, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2001. Hasselbeck gained the starting role in 2003, and led Seattle to six playoff appearances and a Super Bowl appearance; he was selected to three Pro Bowls and an All-Pro selection.Comment -

#83So you think that most NFL games are fixed. Is that what you are saying. If so, GET A LIFE. You know absolutely NOTHING about what it takes to fix a game. NOTHING.Originally posted by vyomguyThank you. I am feeling more confident that denver will win....now that lakerboy and sbr_john don't believe in manning.
2nd year QB's dont beat veteran QB's like manning unless your name is tom brady and have spies stealing signals.
Proabbaly last chance for manning to win superbowl....NFL will make sure he wins his 2nd superbowl. Referees decide most of the games in NFL.Comment -

#85I would say that this would be a legitimate point, except the sample size you use is so small.Originally posted by slacker00The spreads are tilted against the guy. He's a 1st ballot HOFer, but he's not God. That's the discussion.
Trends, such as the one you stated, are typically useless to serious investors. Why did you choose to use the last 5 games as your sample size? What was his ATS record in the previous 5 games? It could have been 5-0, 4-1, etc.
The point is, trends such as the one you used are typically manipulated to better suit your own theory, rather than paint the entire picture.Comment -

Peytons noodle arm soft tosses are a huge x factor no ones bringing up. His passes are awful looking and will limit them. He won't be able to throw a deep ball if its windy . Sea d all tackle well and can lay the wood and their press man coverage is no joke. They should be able to handle all the underneath stuff. Denver Wrs could really struggle here. I don't like this matchup for them offensively, I'd feel better if they drew san fran but it is what it is.Comment -

#94You just confirmed my point.Originally posted by slacker00Peyton is 10-12 ATS in his playoff career. Does that paint a better picture? If you have better info, please share.
You manipulated that trend to better suit your your side.
You mentioned his record for his last 5 playoff games against the spread, 1-4 (20%), but you leave out the fact that he was 9-8 (53%) the 17 playoff games before that.
So, for someone who enjoys fading Manning, does a 1-4 (20%) record sound better, or 10-12 (43.5%)?
Also, Manning is 1-0-1 ATS in these playoffs (depending what line you got in the SD game). The comparison doesn't work because he's fielding statistically the best offense in NFL history this season.Comment -
