I've got no problem registering the rifles and shotguns.
Willie, I get all my information on Texas from TV shows, are you telling me that they tend to exaggerate things?

Walker Texas Ranger was a vast wealth of information.

Seriously though, it is a major hassle to keep a gun around up here, collectors do it but may face a charge like improper storage of a firearm if a gun goes missing or there is an incident involving the gun.

Rifles and shotguns are much more common as they are primarily used for hunting and hunting is popular in Canada, handguns are viewed as somewhat obscene as they cant be used for hunting and the primary use for them is hurting/killing people.

Willie, if you do retire to Banff, let me know, I'll make a point of stopping by on my way to Vancouver.

I'm going to be in Alberta this weekend, Red Deer to be precise.

Walker Texas Ranger (Actually, I like the guy, does a lot of good things despite that show being over the top hokey.)

As for Banff, it was my understanding you couldn't just decide to live there, something about the National Park laws -- Which are much stricter and I'm glad for it up in Canada, wish they were the same here.

Maybe I'll do a vid one of these days to dispel your notions about me being the bogeyman.
