Sorry, that was a live call.....it happens. The Seahawks had a tough time moving the ball, and in fact needed a key penalty call to score their TD. The Chiefs ran the ball easily and the 'Hawks defense looks TERRIBLE against the run.

So the Falcons make a 45 yarder to go ahead, then Carolina misses a 45 yarder to win it for us.

That is a $450 swing for me. That hurts...wow, does that hurt. Carolina had that game won. So sick.

Sorry man, Seattle got terribly outplayed in this one. The only reason they were even in the game were those turnovers. KC was the play here. Glad I saw that early enough.

Aside from the Knicks game where we missed by 1.5 points when Denver missed their last 6 th we point attempts and the Carolina BS the other games went well. The CFL game wasn't close, the Bears did what they needed to do, Tampa won straight up and I almost wanted to bet them at +290....

anyway, go Green Bay, win a shootout!!

And? Yes I did. And then I posted after the first quarter the other way. For anyone watching it was evident that Seattle was having a tough time scoring and that KC was moving the ball easily. Sometimes (rarely) you need to make in game adjustments. Sorry that this one got you. There are probably others that missed the first call and jumped on KC live.

On another note, even with the two last second gross losses, I am somehow up $140 in the day so far. Go Packers!

I bet halves less than 1% of the time. I do not believe they are +EV except in the rarest scenario. I love the over here, but harder to know if they will start fast or finish fast. I prefer not to take the risk.

It is one of those days that I will remember for a while. One e tea bucket in the Knicks game and that game is reversed and then in the Carolina game either Atl missing their FG or Carolina making theirs and I could be up close to $1000 already. Two tiny little swings.

This is is the stuff that can easily tilt people. Just don't chase! I feel like it for sure. This is where discipline needs to take over.

well said D2D. Chasing is a recipe for disaster. It can be so tempting and i have made this mistake many times. Hardly ever does it pay off. You will just be even more upset later. Gl rest of picks and looking forward to your picks later.

Just did a quick count....

9-3 so far today and our only losses are the Seattle game where we reversed our position after the first Q....so technically it was a win for me and the other two losses were SICK last second losses. We could legitimately be 11-0 very easily right now....

Also, another 4-1 week for me in the Beat The Prick contest. Since starting 2-10 (and being in fourth last place out of 1500) I have gone 32-10-1 to get myself into the conversation. 32-10-1 against the spread....I feel like I must have been pretty lucky here to hit that number.

And yes, the wagers were all 1 unit bets.
